For those of us who prefer our food on the slow side, or even just plain fresh, should check out Slow Food Northern New Jersey’s 2nd Annual Local Harvest in Mendham. From 12 to 4 p.m. on Saturday the 16th, you can meet local farmers, buy fresh winter produce and meats, sign up for CSA’s and learn about the agricultural history of New Jersey.
