If you’re anything like me, you must like green spaces. What about green spaces in Morristown? Even better.
Help beautify the land behind the Morristown Town Hall. Local volunteers are holding a meeting tomorrow night to help establish the Healing Arts Park and spruce up the existing parking lot. Currently, the land behind the parking lot is a giant puddle that breeds mosquitos (as I’ve been told) and other nastiness (a scientific term). Improvements will include a labyrinth, a butterfly garden, benches and 30 trees. Sounds magical, doesn’t it?
The group has the support of the Morris County Arts Council and the Dodge Foundation. Now they need our help to clear everything with the new administration.
The meeting will be held tomorrow night (Wed the 24th) at 7 p.m. at 24 Franklin Street. Carolle Huber will be presenting her plan for the space. If you’d like to attend, please RSVP to kakat3@verizon.net. Let the healing begin!
