Sustainable Living in Bernardsville

by ecomotown on March 8, 2010

Have any plans for tomorrow night (Tues, March 9)?  If you live in or near Bernardsville, you should head to the Bernardsville Public Library to hear a talk about sustainable living.  Donna Drewes, Community Planner at the Municipal Land Use Center at The College of New Jersey and one of the lead architects of Sustainable New Jersey, will be giving a presentation about things everyone can implement in their homes to live a more sustainable life.

According to MyCentralJersey.com:

Sustainable living provides many benefits to individuals, families and communities. In addition to protecting the fresh water, clean air and clean soil of our planet Earth, it makes good economic sense. Sustainable habits, from recycling to saving energy, save money in personal budgets and government budgets alike.

The talk starts at 7:30 p.m. and is free to all.  Simply visit the library website and register in advance.  I’m sure we could all learn a thing or two!
