The first step to solving the child obesity epidemic is updating school lunch, which Congress plans to do this year. I asked my legislators to invest in healthier food, strengthen nutrition standards (including for vending machines), and support farm-to-school programs when Congress reauthorizes the Child Nutrition Act.
